Conditions for the battle: - Orochimaru is at Full Power and he is from after he took over Zetsu's body, he can use imperfect edo tensei if needed. - Orochimaru takes on all the akatsuki members one on one each, after each battle he gets healed and fights the next member. - Battlefield is the sannin battleground. - Anime exclusive feats can be used here. - Feats and statements can also be used. - Also use Perfected Edo if Needed. So who can Oro beat out of all the akatsuki members? - Pain - Obito Uchiha - Itachi Uchiha - Kisame Hoshigaki - Kakuzu - Hidan - Konan - Sasori - Deidara |

Some think it's canon some do not, i personally think it is because it doesn't contradict anything. In any case topic says non canon feats are also allowed. |

The only reason I say Orochimaru would beat Sasori is because he's supposed to have great immunity to poison. And no, Sasori is the strongest Akatsuki after Itachi and Pain. He'd probably beat Oro too if it weren't for the poison immunity. |

I think you overestimate Sasori. Itachi, Pain, Konan and Obito would definently crush him, i think even Kakuzu can do it. Konan defeated Sasori in the OVA to the point Sasori gave up, and Obito defeated Konan, plus Sasori has nothing to take him down. What will Sasori do to Orochimaru even without poisson immunity? Hiruko is completly useless his attacks are dodgeable by Sakura, the Third Kazekage's attacks are way to slow as well, Orochimaru was so fast Sharingan Sasuke could barely keep track on him and react in the forest of death, Oro has offensive the summonings the kusanagi sword and his strong taijutsu, the 100 puppets is just a weak jutsu IMO, those puppets are getting beaten way to easily, Oro would crush them. I know that you want you thread to be specifically included noncanon material, but seeing that you're defending otherwise I might as well go strictly for canon. Kusanagi sword would be useless against Sasori since it'd just be magnetized by the 3rd Kazkekage puppet. If you get rid of Oro's poison immunity all he Sasori has to do is cut Oro one time with any of his hundred puppets or touch him with the sand. Oro would essentially be on the run the entire time trying to prevent getting without much time for offense. That's what makes him formidable. He's a good opponent for just about anyone before meteor spamming starts. Jiraiya would probably be his bane opponent. Sage mode sensing makes sure there's no sneaky sand or puppets trying to sneak poison onto him. |

Well i agree, let's also follow canon. Orochimaru is still to much for Sasori even removing the poisson immunity, why you might ask? Orochimaru pretty much has to fight against the Third Kazekage puppet and the 100 puppets jutsu, Hiruko is way out of it's leaque to keep up here. The third Kazekage is powerfull and has the iron sand, true and it is quite formidable, but looking at the fight between Sasori and Sakura with Chiyo you can see that both of them can dodge the iron sand at some degree, someone who is faster than those two can keep out of range, and Orochimaru has this speed. He was so fast on his own that Sasuke could barely keep track with his sharingan eye, he was also fast enough he could tag Kyubi 4 tailed Naruto attack's and as far as reflexes goes he used the tripple rashomon only after Kyubi 4 tailed Naruto launched his tailed beast bomb, and thanks to his Soft Physique Modification he can move even faster, because he gains more speed and agility with it, becoming more like a snake, not to mention Sasuke statement saying Orochimaru@no weakenned > Himself, Sasuke blitzed Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Yamato combine. He has the physical strengh and the summons to take down the kazekage, and he is known for been tricky and getting his opponents off guard, so even if he runs away most of the time he will still plan ahead. The 100 puppets jutsu is just weak IMO and overated, those 100 puppets were easily blown away by Sakura and Chiyo's puppets, Orochimaru has shown more than enough taijutsu strengh to smash them on his own, and he is fast enough to dodge any attacks they make. Oro showed immense strength, as when he was walking to Tanzaku Quarters, he was immensely frustrated by the pain he was in and used only a kick to knock down a tree. In another instance he was able to strike with enough force to destroy many large trees despite being a distance away from it, not to mention he punched away Kyubi 4 tailed Naruto, the kusanagi sword could come in handy here since Oro knows were to strike. Even if somehow Sasori gets Oro with poisson he can easily use the earth clone immediatly like he did against the third Hokage or even better: Orochimaru-Ryū no Kawarimi no Jutsu (Orochimaru-Style Body Replacement Technique): Used primarily after sustaining massive injury or as a means to avoid a seemingly inescapable attack, this technique allows the user to materialise a new body. This is done by regurgitating it from their mouth in a manner that somewhat resembles how a snake sheds its skin. After emerging, the user's injuries are completely restored, with even amputated limbs being regenerated. While the technique has the additional advantage of potentially being difficult to detect, its use consumes a large amount of chakra. And he was shown to use it over 3 times against Kyubi Naruto and still laugh it off. On the contrary what will Sasori do against Imperfect Edo Tensei, Eight Branches tecknique, and his wind and fire style manipulation? With the imperfect Edo not only does Oro has two hokages on his side he also has the infinite darkness jutsu something which would cause the downfall of Sasori himself he would fight against the darkness, about the eight branches tecknique: Yamata no Jutsu (Eight Branches Technique): Orochimaru's most powerful physical jutsu. He can transform his body in to a colossal white snake with eight heads and eight tails. It is powerful enough to crush boulders by moving and completly crushed the Uchiha hideout, only the Totsuka Sword could hurt it through sealing, Orochimaru can emerge from one of the snake's mouths for a surprise attack. Not to mention the fact there are still many jutsu we never saw Oro using because they were sealed away but we know he has, his entire life was devoted on mastering jutsu, we saw him using wind style twice (crushing a large portion of the forst of death, and using it as a wirlwind) and also fire stule (against Naruto he used some kind of flamethrower). To finish my post, Oro has knowledge on Sasori's attacks and jutsu full to well, he knows were and how to strike, and he was also confident he could kill Sasori at the bridge even though the guy had no jutsu, Orochimaru is no fool he wouldn't attack Sasori unless he knew that he could do it. |
